43 - 'an opinion'? what's that?

heeeeeey everybody (we don't have to live this way...........we can all get some..........and we can all get paid)

i got the sound check standing ticket for the 5sos gig, on michael's side, and i'm sorta, uh, almost fainting or some shit.

since the last post on this fabulous blog, i've read a few little things:

the first book i finished in october was the heartbreakers by ali novak and it felt great rereading this after quite a while. i can't wait for the queen of hearts to be published. i've read about three to five chapters on wattpad but i don't want to ruin the surprise and who's going to be the next band member who's going to be 'taken'.

i finished with losing hope by colleen hoover and it was a great read, the only thing that wasn't too great for me was the fact that i knew what was going to happen.

finding cinderella, however... book two and a half in the hopeless series/trilogy/duology was fantastic. my favorite from the three even though it was only a little novella. daniel was my favorite character in losing hope and i loved that we got a book about daniel and six. they're my absolute fave otp now.

so, right now i'm making my way through linger by maggie stiefvater which is the second book in the wolves of mercy falls series. i don't really remember much from shiver because it took a while for me toread and i want to finish linger in the next two days, meaning today and tomorrow. then i want to finish off with the last book in the series this week as well.

i'm finally getting over my reading slump and i know i totally have failed my tbr pile but i'll get to these books, guys, i'll get to them. especially harry potter in december because a harry potter marathon is taking place in the whole of december, both books and movies.

also, two nights ago was the mtv ema's and i was quite damn disappointed that justin bieber went and took basically all of his nominations and i think there were bands and people who deserved the awards way more, considering that fame has really gone into bieber's head. ed sheeran was an amazing host and ruby rose is a goddess, still. even though i'm about to get to the parts in orange is the new black where ruby is. slowly but surely i'm making my way through the second season of orange is the new black and right now my weekly priority is american horror story, so...

also, i'm going to do a monthly wrap-up soon as well as my book haul since i'm not getting any new books in the month of october and i got quite a few this week. the beginning of november will be exciting though 'cause i'll get the three books i ordered ages ago.

now to the reasoning of this title i have for this post. i know i usually  put book titles as my titles but this time i just couldn't get past this.

lately, i feel like suddenly all of my friends, even a few family members (okay, there is one friend who hasn't. only one.) have turned against me for having an opinion. i feel like it's wrong for me to have an opinion in any kind of situation and i get blamed for basically being passionate about something or just expressing an uncommon opinion. that pisses me the hell off and i literally have had enough.

i get it - they're expressing an opinion that's probably the opposite of mine but it's usually bashing what i do or say. i feel like in this situation, like emma blackery, who always gets picked on for having an opinion. so basically i feel as if the only place where people aren't judging me for having an opinion is this blog. i get it, people are allowed to have opinions - but when it's bashing cultures or other people or their work, i can't really take it. let's try and be positive and don't bash people, alright? deal?

also, just fucking saying, literature is supposed to in the very least entertain you, not fry your brain.

today's song choice is starset's 'it has begun'

so, until next time!

x o
