i'm literally the worst with keeping track on updating anything.
very heartbreaking news came in today and yet another one of the members of my all-time favourite band has left - jeremy davis of paramore. i've loved paramore for over seven years and i'm feeling all emotions at once, for the whole day i've felt like this, so.

on the second day of bookmas my true love gave to me two awful endings
hmm...
well, i don't really know about this question. i usually read a book and then just forget if i liked or didn't like the endings, i don't even know.
but
as from what i've read lately, i did not like my brother's best friend's ending because i knew what was going to happen almost as if from the start because it's a contemporary and most of wattpad contemporaries end happily with the main couple together and i rarely see ones that don't have all that happy of an ending.
and the second book that i didn't like the ending was psycho sitter by alexandria ayers because i didn't think that book was very good overall, it was all over the place and nothing really got solved.
bookmas day 3
on the third day of bookmas my true love gave to me three favourite ships/friendships
landon and tessa in the after series by anna todd! they're both such nerds and they like when things are their way and they don't take anyone's shit, really. they're great friends to each other and help each other out and they honestly are the greatest friends to each other anyone could probably ever have.
warner and juliette in the shatter me trilogy. i ship them so hard it's unbelievable. no questions needed.
isla and josh in isla and the happily ever after by stephanie perkins because it's my favorite ship of all three books and i love this couple so much and i really need to reread it soon.
(there's a million ships that i could add more but these were the first ones that came to my mind lol)
bookmas day 4
on the fourth day of bookmas my true love gave to me four cosy reads
to be fair, i think that any wattpad book that i read is considered a cosy read because as of now i only read for pleasure and i'm gonna choose some of my favourite wattpad books on this little list. i really like reading suspenseful reads as in they keep me on the edge of my seat until the end and there's about three of those and then i got one more i guess.
my absolute favourite read on wattpad is baby doll by wonderland123. i read this last year i wanna say but i'm not too sure. it's very suspenseful and things happen and it's a very quick read even though for a wattpad book, it might seem intimidating at first because it's over a hundred and eighty wattpad pages long. oh yeah, it's a harry styles fan fiction.
my current favourite read that is being written at the moment is revolution by _HakunaMatata_ and it is another harry styles fan fiction set in new york in the future where the uk and the us are against each other in war. people are taken off the streets for slavery and the soldiers' own pleasure. we follow our main character jane who lives with her brother, his fianceé and her sister and they get captured in the middle of jane's brother liam telling them what is going to happen next. jane gets taken away and separated from her family, and she is going to pretend to be harry's (who is a soldier and liam's friend, supposedly) mistress for the duration of the war. I'M SO EXCITED FOR IT TO CONTINUE omg.
the third book i really like is illegal my ass by makeandoffer and this is a very humor-filled story about our main character mia and she lives with her brother and father. her father works overseas a lot of time and doesn't get to see his children as much but meanwhile, mia has got quite a reputation in her town because, well, she experiences things. then there's drake, who is mia's brother's best friend and he gets out of jail after two years of spending his time there. this story is absolutely hilarious and i've read it a couple of times now and it's probably my favourite funny read on wattpad. very good and lighthearted, at the most part.
so this concludes the days i've missed from doing bookmas.
reading-wise, i've finished my brother's best friend and i will give this one only about ★★★.5✩✩ because there were certain things that i did like and certain things that i didn't. i really liked the phone conversations/texts between either harry and carter or between mitchell and carter. i didn't like it as much because it was a little predictable and something i've seen being done in stories before. i liked that instead of the whiny crying carter we got the perspective of harry trying to deal with things towards the end of the book though. in all honesty, i skimmed through like the last thirty chapters because i was growing tired of it a bit, i don't know. the kinky scenes weren't all that much what i hoped for and i've read i guess better ones?? i don't know. i find it funny how people try to put dots in the middle of dirty words because they don't want them to change to 'mature'. a lot of dots in kinky scenes, haha.
so, now i am reading cinder before reading project daddy because i'm very excited to continue on with 'cinder' and also so excited to start with 'project daddy'.
i also did that stupid thing the other day where i added like another four stories on my reading list. but i've already read one of them i guess. i'll list them here:

i picked out my next wattpad story after 'project daddy' and it is called between us and it is a michael one i've had there for a while.
