oh wow sorry i haven't been updating much
i met jedward last saturday after like four years. it was fun. they still have a very special place in my heart, even though i might have grown up from their music but occasionally i still listen to them.
but i do have loads of great stories to go along with me meeting them for the third time, though they've been to estonia now like five times. last time i wasn't able to go because i had to choose between going to a food festival and meeting jedward. guess what i did.
edward told me that my name sounds like 'echo' so that was cool. and both of them kind of bossed me around while they didn't do much bossing around for anyone else but i was like thrown here and there, everywhere by both john and edward. fun guys. can't believe they're twenty four years old though.
here's a few snapshots:
group photo with jedward - i'm on the floor with john (this sounds wrong, i'm sorry) i was originally like third person in the back on the left by edward but john pulled me out of the crowd oops (source) |
source - my phone lol, edward took the photos though |
since the last time i updated, i read beside you by myheartsmistake on wattpad and i really liked how it focueed on music and how celebrities are people not dolls to be pushed around. i liked the relationship in this and how our main character wasn't throwing herself at our love interest, zayn.
though before 'beside you', i read hell and it was good, but a little devastating because i found myself feeling sorry for almost all of the characters.
the next book i picked up was taking chances which was supposed to be a part of tbr takedown 3.0 but i wasn't feeling like reading it, really. so, now i read like half of it and i feel like this is a book i can pick up at any time and remember what's been going on in it all along. so i'm not very sad or mad about not finishing it yet because i know i will eventually. but, guilty me, i already added it as 'read' on goodreads.
then i was very intrigued in reading mr. hemmings but once i started it, i couldn't stop thinking that there were way too many things linking to 'fifty shades of grey' and it felt like a retelling of 50sog, only with luke hemmings as christian grey. but i probably will continue on with it when i feel like it, but right now i just can't get my head around it and the similarities between the two books.
right now, since last night, i'm reading an ember in the ashes by sabaa tahir and this book is definitely going to be one of my favourites of the year even though it hasn't really even begun yet. there's so much going on, so much action and i love reading about things where there are rebels involved and military and escaping. all that good fantasy stuff. so i'm continuing on with it as soon as i finish this post.
later on today though i'm going to the theatre with my cousin and some other people and i haven't been to the theatre in so long that i'm so excited! also in two weeks i'll be going to see a ballet and to an imagine dragons concert. very culture-filled month. lovin' it.
today's song choice is in the honor of alan rickman, the actor who played one of my favourite villains of them all - severus snape in harry potter. the song is 'hedwig's theme'.
until my next post
x o
