75 - attack on titan vol. 5

as i finished reading some books last night (and also started), i thought i might as well add them up here in addition to my january wrap-up because there were some mixed things. i unfortunately didn't end up finishing some stories but approximately the amount of books i read was still the same.

last night i didn't end up reading unseen because i felt like i was a bit fed up with ghost stories because i've read a few recently and it's just getting a bit old for me for now. also, maybe it's just that i've grown used to this same author's writing style and i'd probably know what she'd be writing about since i've read about twenty of her works on wattpad. so, that's put off until i don't know when. until i feel like it.

i read the fourth, fifth and sixth books in the social series by animalik on wattpad. the first book of these three - fourth, then - was called left behind and it was about luke hemmings having a girlfriend back in australia and them communicating via text messages while luke is on tour with the band. a lot of crap happens and, again, two endings are to this and i almost always like the realistic one. ★★★★

the fifth one was called suspicious and it focused on a twitter direct messaging story between a fan and liam payne. i quite enjoyed it though the endings were a bit meh for me. ★★★.5

the sixth one was called just friends and it was about calum hood being a girl's best friend and they start to sext behind the girl's boyfriend's back since the boyfriend is being a real jackass to the girl anyways. in the process, they realize that they've sort of always been trying to make each other jealous by dating somewhat 'horrible' people and there's two endings to this as well, a realistic one and an unrealistic one. i quite liked the realistic one because it showed that when people fuck up, sometimes they can't fix their mistakes. ★★★.5

i started reading zoe and the beast my MiNsHi and i'm currently on the eighteenth chapter as of last night and it's veeeeeery confusing so far. i'll probably finish it by tonight because the chapters are surprisingly short. maybe it's confusing to me also because i read the second draft chapters before reading the first draft ones and a lot of things are sort of out of context on it. so far, i'm not giving it more than a ★★★ rating.

today i also finished up with attack on titan vol. 5 and this series is so good i can't wait to pick up the next book! i love 'attack on titan' so much and i literally can't wait for the anime to have the second season but it's been honestly so long.

i also went to the library today and checked out 'we were liars' by e. lockhart and i'll be reading it very soon. i originally went to get 'outlander' by diana gabaldon but it was checked out and it was kind of a bummer. oh, well. better luck next time.

i'm doing well with emptying up my wattpad library again since i haven't added anything since i started reading the social series and i only have three more books to read in it so it's quite good. so, far (if i don't add anything else) i have eighteen more books (including 'unseen' and 'zoe and the beast').

today's song choice is zayn's 'pillowtalk' because i can not get it out of my head at all.
