i finished reading lucas yesterday and it was intense! i loved this book a lot solely because it wasn't really a love story. sure, out main character was attracted to the guy but there was nothing going on between the two. however, the ending, the ending.
this is why i have trust issues with books like this. and this is why i hate people who are hypocrites. but it was an enjoyable read nevertheless. i want my own copy of this so i could reread it again because i feel like i've read this before to the end but it was about like five-six years ago, hence why i didn't really remember too much of it. five out of five stars for me, i loved this and can't wait to check out anything else kevin brooks has put out.
right now i'm reading faking it by cora carmack and i feel like i'm already loving this book more than the first one. i read the first one back in october (i think?) last year and i can't remember much of it but i do remember our main character in this story - cade. right now i'm on page 101 and i love max and cade so much as a "couple". i love them, i love them, i love them. i'm in love with both of their characters so much.
planning to definitely finish it today 'cause i'm already so far in and i'll then pick up my next read (which was actually supposed to be full-on today's book, oops) which is everything everything by nicola yoon. and then it's eurovision time! can't wait.
pages read: 518
today's song choice is hollywood undead's 'party by myself' 'cause i woke up with this song in my head and it's still there, hanging on.
until next time
