123 - wicked games

i'm back at it with the blogging again!

while i was in tallinn, i didn't blog because i had so much to do and i was outside or reading for majority of my time there. which is probably why i have almost two hundred videos on my youtube watch later list... shit.

so here's a little overview of what i read while i was in tallinn!

before i went to tallinn, i finished up reading anonymous and texting and they were quite good! i enjoyed both of them and 'texting' especially because it was really up-to-date with what bieber is actually doing and just adding some new characters (and a love interest) into the mix. i'd give about four stars to both of these books.

i don't know if i've really given a brief description of the stories yet but here i go.

anonymous is about a girl and a boy who are both having hard times and they express their feelings on twitter without knowing each other. one of them is our main character jessica who tweets out quotes that are pretty much depressing since she herself is depressed. and the boy is a second account to niall horan but no one knows that. niall tweets song lyrics. the two start dm-ing each other and quickly they become friends. they (unknowingly) meet at jessica's parents bed and breakfast place and jessica doesn't know that niall is the boy she'd been talking to online. niall doesn't tell her either. and things get interesting.

the sequel to 'anonymous', who cares, is being written currently but i don't usually keep reading sequels, just up to the point they've been written to. only if the story is super great to me but this one didn't stand out all that much. it was good but not marvelous to me.

texting starts out with justin bieber texting a girl drunkedly, thinking she was one of the girls he'd met at a bar who'd given him her number. it was a wrong number and it was a fan's number but giselle isn't your average oh-my-god-it's-justin-i'm-telling-everyone fan. she actually becomes good friends with him and really isn't friends with him because of his fame.justin really appreciates that and they get close to each other and drama happens. yep.

now to what i read in tallinn!

the first book i picked up was onyx by jennifer l.. armentrout which is the sequel to 'obsidian', and i read it in april. i'm pretty much in love with this series so far and i can't wait to see what'll happen next since i just today received the next two books in a bind-up for the series! so exciting. of course, since it's a second book in the series, i can't walk about it really without spoiling anything. all i can say is that things get real good. it's getting better and better. five out of five stars!

then i was randomly scrolling my way through wattpad and found a few short stories, one of them being texts and this was a justin bieber one again, where a fan and justin communicate through text messages and things evolve into something more. i honestly can't remember anything about it, it just went in from one ear and out of the other. sorry. just your average text story i guess.

on the same night i read wicked games by fivesecondsofwinter and this was really interesting to me. it had a badass main character who moved into a new town and goes to a catholic all-girls school which she hates. she meets a group of boys who seem to be quite rebellious themselves and she decides to get involved with them. the boys are michael, luke, calum and ashton. there's two bad guys and two somewhat better guys in the group, luke and calum being the bad ones. luke is pretty much the 'leader' of the group and everybody follows his orders, so they mess with the girl and on one occasion luke tries to take advantage of her since he thinks that 'she's new and thinks she can just come and do whatever the fuck she wants' and it's not okay. michael and ashton are more laid back and have the guts to say things to luke when he's wrong. michael beings to protect the girl and talk to her as if she was his friend.

i'm so sad it only has like idk six to nine chapters 'cause it was so good so far. four point seventy five stars.

next i read 5sos shit and more 5sos shit by calstagram. these were little collections of things that fans have said or imagined about the band on tumblr and some of them had me almost crying with laughter. they were so creative and i can't really get how people come up with some of these things but it's so great.

of course, i continued on with the series a couple of days later, reading can't get enough of 5sos shit and loads of 5sos shit and that's where it really ends right now.

the last completely new thing i read was twitter which was an overall 5sos story where a girl tries to get 5sos to notice her on twitter and once they do, they notice her so much that it becomes overwhelming. they tweet and dm her and at some point when the girl moves to australia, they meet.

again, it was average, so three stars from me.

and the last thing i'm currently reading is paint you wings because things have picked up in it! i'm hoping to finish this tonight but we'll see how much i'll get done with it actually. i'm really loving it and where it's going so far! the writing style is beautiful. a really close five-star read so far! i'm thirty five chapters in.

and that's it! i'll make sure to update when i get some more reading done.

until next time

x o
