original post
i have been slacking these past two days and have read only two chapters of the heir but i've made it my goal to finish it today. that's what happens when i have access to youtube videos.
but i read a chapter of heed on wattpad yesterday and i think i'll try to squeeze that into my weekend reads instead of linger and forever because obviously i won't finish these in one single day.
yesterday was a one direction surprise release of drag me down and i gotta say that it's a really great song! they usually pick not the worst songs but like, the ones that the fandom doesn't like as much some others, for singles but drag me down is honestly very good. it's on spotify if any of you are willing to check it out. i don't know if it's on youtube yet because yesterday afternoon it wasn't so i don't know.
i've edited almost two hundred pages of dream catchers! i'm soon done with editing my story and it's so exciting and i've also written a couple of pages of the sequel but i'm not sure if i'm happy with them yet or not. guess i'll have to recheck.
also, my two other books are on the way to estonia and if my counting adds up then i should have all of them by at least the 15th of august and i'm most excited! my colleen hoover collection is growing, i love it. then i'll have slammed, point of retreat, this girl, confess, hopeless and finding cinderella! i still have a couple of books to go after that but i'll get there i promise.
well, so i got hopeless and finding cinderella (book 2.5) so i'll have to get losing hope sometime too. and the other two books are psycho sitter and the heartbreakers. all of these books are available pretty much everywhere.
also it really ticks me off that people are comparing psycho sitter and the after series to what real-life harry is. both of these books/series are a work of fiction. it doesn't matter that the original one had harry styles in it, it's called an au (alternative universe) story for a reason. just the name of harry has been used in the original stories. in the physical copies of these books the names have been changed to hunter stiles in psycho sitter and hardin scott in after. yes, they're somewhat similar to harry's name but the personalities in these fictional stories are completely different to what harry is in real life. everybody, and i mean everybody, knows that harry isn't the 'jerk' in real life and he doesn't do things he does in the books. and as for after, harry/hardin has piercings and way more tattoos. does harry have that in real life? no.
why aren't people mentioning the fact that the mortal instruments was a harry potter fan fiction and fifty shades of grey was a twilight fan fiction more often then? why are the wattpad writers attacked then? i don't honestly get it. i think it's epic that wattpad gets more books published now and sees the amount of effort people put in their books, fanfiction or not.
i think that anna and alexandria are marvelous writers and praise anna for writing a four-book series with all of the books having over five hundred pages. i think that's absolutely incredible! also, a completely new after book is coming out at the beginning of december this year and it's called before and it's a prequel to the after series. i'm psyched!
so there's an opinion.
today's song choice is obviously one direction's "drag me down".
i'll see you guys next time!
