32 - booktube-a-thon day 1-2

so, yesterday booktube-a-thon begun!

i did not finish any books yesterday besides the heir by kiera cass. BUT today i am up-to-date with my booktube-a-thon challenges! i have finished my drunk kitchen by hannah hart that was my yesterday's challenge - read a book without letting go of it.

so, right now i'm reading an estonian book armastusega fännidelt by ketlin priilinn (in english it would be 'with love from fans') and i quite honestly dislike this book a lot because it gets a lot of the things about being a fan of certain bands wrong.

it doesn't look like the author has been doing a lot of research for this book because our main character is a big fan of a swedish band, dreamblue, and she decides to go to quite a few of their concerts in europe. as i'm currently sixty-something pages in, nothing has really happened besides the constant "oh my god" feeling the main character describes when she meets other fans in countries and also, meets the band probably at some point.

as i am a fan of paramore for even longer than this girl in this book has been, it really looks like she has dedicated her whole life into meeting them and i don't know, that sounds very groupie-like and stalkerish. so maybe that's why i don't enjoy this book as much. also, not to forget the fact that the band she's following around - the members are all like i don't know, forty years old. that's a tad bit creepy for me.

also, an eighteen-year-old girl shouldn't be acting like an eleven-year old, as the main character does in the book. i'll see if it gets any better but i'm determined to finish it because it is in my booktube-a-thon tbr and when i finish it today, i'll get to something way more exciting and that is wonder by r. j. palacio.

also, right after i finish this post i'll update my monthly playlist and wrap-up on my other blog, zombiebats. 

today's song choice is once again 5 seconds of summer's "she's kinda hot" because the music video for it came out last night and it's amazing!
