34 - uk diary? + hopeless
hello everybody!
i took a quite a long break from blogging, mainly because i travelled around yorkshire in the second half of august and the beginning of september. i got back to estonia a week and two days ago. and i'm seriously slacking on blogging.
now i think i'm back????? because i have LOTS of things to talk about and i have loads of pictures from the visit to the united kingdom.
so, i was wondering - are you guys up for a daily uk diary thing? i wrote a diary during my visit to the united kingdom and all my favorite bits and pieces may be published on this blog if anyone's up for it. especially since i went to leeds festival and tribfest!
so, guys - what do you think? should i do a full post with catching you guys up with what happened briefly or a full, let's say, a week of things i saw and experienced in the land of crumpets and tea (in amazingphil's words)? of course i will post a million photos when i get around to editing them as well.
but reading-wise!
a day before i went to the uk, in tallinn i finished reading my life with the walter boys and i still like alex way more than cole, dammit cole. it was my second time reading it!
during my trip to the united kingdom i managed to finish hopeless by colleen hoover and it completely broke my heart into a a hundred million pieces. such a beautiful story but so damn heartbreaking. i should receive my copy of the second book - losing hope - within a week or so.
then i picked up you by caroline kepnes and holy guacamole, this book is absolutely fantastic. yes, i'm still reading it but the thing is that i'm reading a million things at once and since you is a thriller, it's taking me a little more time because i like reading thrillers/psychological things in the middle of the night so i could scare myself a bit since i'm not very big on watching horror films but i do really enjoy good horror films, like the conjuring, exorcist and psycho.
wattpad-wise i finished up with rewind by bel watson but i wasn't as satisfied with it as i thought i would be. i've read better stuff by her but it's just my opinion.
yesterday i read until i met you which took me a long tie to get through because the storyline dragged a lot and the way the characters talked was unrealistic for me, i don't know.
so, right now i'm reading the boy who lost his sight and it is very satisfying so far, even though i've read only eight chapters. i can kind of relate to it, kind of can't...
BUT
the most important news of today!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's the spirit album by bring me the horizon came out today!!!!!!!!! it's absolutely fantastic! i saw bring me the horizon live and god damn how good they are, i don't give a shit what everyone else thinks! that's the spirit is the shit, mate. 10/10 recommend.
also i've really been enjoying halsey's album badlands in the last couple of weeks.
today's song choice is avalanche by bring me the horizon (which is obviously one of my favorite songs off the album).
cheers!
x o
