65 - bad & british / tbr takedown 3.0: day 2

hi hi hi!

i started reading bad & british for my second challenge, read a book you've had on your tbr for over a year, again, late last night (but still counts as today because it was after midnight) and up until exactly three am, i had read nine chapters.

now, as of st four pm, i've read twelve chapters and i can't stop cringing at this story and i absolutely have no desire to continue with it at all.

it's not my cup of tea at all because this story is all over the place and it's hard to tell where one scene ends and another one begins, really. and the main characters were moving too fast with their relationship in my opinion (considering the fact that one of the recent stories i read, the couple kissed for the first time in like the very last chapter, oops spoilers). also, one just does not hate a guy one day and switch onto being in love with him the next. it just doesn't work that way. also, i felt as if both the main characters were quite bipolar, i don't know.

so yeah, i've switched up to reading hell by grlfrndsbtchn now and this is the challenge for read a novella/short story/poem/verse etc.

also, me dropping off reading this book doesn't mean that i won't complete the challenge, i'm just switching the book for this challenge and the book i'm reading for 'read a book you've had on your tbr for over a year' is beside you by myheartsmistake, my last zayn fan fiction on my library.

'bad & british' just bummed me out and i can't believe it's been read for over thirteen million times, really. it wasn't the greatest piece of literature i've read, ever. and that's saying a lot because i generally like the books i read on wattpad and i finish most of them, but i'm not into this one at all. apologies to the author who will probably never see this post, lol.

so today i'm reading hell and i'm hoping to get to beside you as well.

today's song choice is 'hopelessness you' by the sun which is by an estonian band and i used to love this song in both estonian and english version a lot when i was around nine years old. still my favourite estonian band and i've been a fan since like two thousand and five.
