hey hey! i'm already doing my book haul in the middle of the month in june because i have no intention of buying any more books this month, and the following months. yes - i'm putting myself on a book-buying ban. i have just one book coming in the month of july, and then i'll probably preorder three for august because they're my most anticipated reads of twenty sixteen.
so here's my book haul for this month!
nowhere but here by katie mcgarry! i've been wanting to read this book since it came out and i finally managed to get it in this wonderful american floppy paperback (which is all i want in life, tbh). now waiting for the second book to come out in paperback next year... why do the american paperbacks come out a YEAR after the hardcovers!? ridiculous.
lux: consequences, lux: opposition and oblivion by jennifer l. armentrout! i have finally finished my lux series off! i'm honestly so excited to have these because i'm loving this series and i'm currently halfway through with reading 'consequences'. 'consequences' includes the third and fourth books in the series - opal and origin, and 'opposition' includes opposition and a prequel novella, shadows. and 'oblivion' is the first book, 'obsidian' in daemon's point of view. so excited!
maybe someday and maybe not by colleen hoover! this completes by colleen hoover collection, since these were the last two books i had to get to complete it, if i don't include the 'never never' series that she wrote with tarryn fisher. i have those as e-books. i'm a little bit bummed out that the online store i buy my books from doesn't have the 'never never' series anymore. :( 'maybe not' is a continuation of 'maybe someday' and it's a novella.
throne of glass and crown of midnight by sarah j. maas in hardcover! these are probably my new favorite books i own, just by the look of them. the american hardcovers are the most beautiful covers probably ever, and i'm very impatient to get to reading them. they're incredibly gorgeous. now i just have to collect the next two books, plus the novella bindup, and the new release, 'empire of storms' in september!
before by anna todd! i have been putting of getting it for such a long time and now that i decided to get it i had to wait two months until i finally got it. again. why's it like that with anna's books that i have to wait way more than everyone else!? can't wait to see the story in hardin's point of view, and some other beloved characters!
