36 - you + september wrap-up

i haven't been feeling like posting anything for the past month and i apologize.

that would probably explain my lack in reading books as well because i've only read a few things this month, only two books in physical form.

i finally finished reading you by caroline kepnes last night and i guess i had way too high expectations for it. read about my opinions further on goodreads.

then this month i reread after we fell which is the third book in the after series by anna todd. i'm a sucker for dramatic reads so it was definitely for me.

now onto wattpad reads.

this month i kicked off with reading until i met you which i talked about in my previous post.

the next thing i read was rewind and i gotta say i didn't like it as much as i anticipated either. even though it was a bel watson book and i love her works a lot. just not the best of her works.

next i read the boy who lost his sight and i wasn't satisfied with it either. interesting concept and theme but way unrealistic and too many grammar mistakes.

so basically i have this jar of book titles and i pick one out right as i'm about to finish the previous one. and these books are all that i've picked from this jar and i have around thirty left in there and i am so excited because i want to empty my wattpad library so it would be fresh for next year.

next i picked friendship for dummies which i put off first because i was momentarily sick of the fluffy contemporaries on wattpad and the i-hate-you-then-i-love-you theme in each one of them. this one felt the same. so i'm currently reading it, as i started last night and i'm enjoying it so far.

piano lessons was my next pick and i felt like reading some darker fan fiction, so this was a harry styles one that has quite a lot of sexual content and jealousy goes through it which i sometimes like in stories, sometimes don't. this time i didn't. i didn't enjoy this story as much either even though as of today it's still ongoing but i don't think i'll be finishing it.

so, yep.

right now i'm reading friendship for dummies and in physical form i'm about to start the miniaturist by jessie burton. i've also picked out my next wattpad read and two next book reads from the TBR jars i have - one for physical books, one for wattpad. i've spilled them over the floor a couple of times, might've lost some of the small slips. ugh.

so, my next physical copy reads are:

kaljud ja kameeleonid by marek kahro (in estonian)
losing hope by colleen hoover - simply because i recently read hopeless and i finally received the second book

and wattpad read is

the chase by bubblesirwin which is an ashton irwin story and it's really long so i hope it won't drag a lot.

also sorry for not posting uk diaries but i've gotten a lot of rest and taken a break from everything and watched some masterchef season 6, still am, so. but i'll get around to it when i dig out my laptop.

also i was in tallinn for my enter shikari gig last tuesday, the 22nd of september, and they were fantastic now that i actually got to enjoy the gig without being crushed in the front row. also hacktivist were here and i will make a post about the gig in the next couple of days because some of the photos that i might be able to use in the post are online now, yay.

until the next uk diary or enter shikari post!

x o
