81 - it's just ann

it's only thursday today and i'm updating, look at me go

so, as from what i updated, i read a few more things in the span of like twenty six hours.

i finished reading snapchat but i didn't unfortunately like it as much because it was, again, super predictable. but i was very satisfied with the first ending, that i must say.

i took the next absolutely random book from my reading list and it was direct message and this was a michael clifford story where michael is drunk and accidentally direct messages a fan on twitter. as per usual, they start talking further and eventually become a thing which at first isn't a very good thing.

then i decided that i was done with fluffy crap for a bit, so i picked up it's just ann by belwatson and this is the fourth installment in the aware princess series on wattpad. this is a retelling of mulan and i particularly like it a lot right now because mulan isn't a love story and i'm excited to see where ann (or mulan) ends up and i'm really liking all the characters so far. i'm fifteen chapters in! and the covers on this series are absolutely s t u n n i n g, i love the 'it's just ann' one the most! and the main character is half japanese, half british!!!!!!!!

last night i also read a couple of short little poems and a story by my lovely lovely friend alice! i made covers for her books and i've been doing so for years now, so of course i've read all the stuff she's put on wattpad since i began reading on wattpad myself.

so, i read i love you which was an interesting one and i love her stories because they always, always have a happy ending to them. they're very short but i'm sometimes all about those one-chapter books.

the second one i read was you don't exist which was a little poem and the third one i read was my happy place. all of these alongside with a lot of other stories like those you can find on her wattpad profile!

and i also started reading my classic of the month - pride and prejudice by jane austen. i'm six chapters in right now, liking it, but it's very hard for me to get into classics so i'm taking my time with this one.

and i've watched a ton on regan's videos (/peruseproject) in the past few days and i was sort of intrigued by rule by jay crownover. so far i've read the first two chapters which is basically almost the first fifty pages of the book and i'm feeling a bit iffy about it. the only character i like so far is rule's older brother because everyone else seems to be too far up in each other asses. yes, including shaw.

so, i plan to probably finish with 'it's just ann' and maybe even get on track with the fifth book, 'blanca like snow', so we'll see.

today's song choice is cartoon's acoustic version 'immortality' 'cause i wanna support fellow estonians and things!! and i liked joosep's singing on this slightly better than kristel's actually, so yeh. heads up, i was a huge bedwetters fan back in two thousand and six.
