hey again!
(i really need to lay off on reading on wattpad so much. it's like my only addiction.)
so, today started this new fun little read-a-thon which i'm not quite sure i'll be able to take part in but i will try my best. and i thought i'd jot down what i'm planning to read for the read-a-thon because i didn't really do it for genrethon, only at the end of it. this time, there are optional challenges for the read-a-thon which i thought would be fun to complete.
the thing is that i am not sure how much i'll be able to read during it because i'll spend like one nad a half-ish days in tallinn because i'm going to the adam lambert gig on wednesday. so, we'll see.
so, this read-a-thon was created on youtube by joana sousa and co-hosted by sam from thoughts on tomes and in this read-a-thon you can either read books by one author that you own a ton of books by, or you can complete challenges. by the way, this is a week-long read-a-thon, starting today (april 18th) and finishing on april 24th.
there are six challenges for this, just so you could have ta bit more time for when you can't read a book a day or something along these lines. the challenges are:
1. read a book by a favourite author
for the first challenge i chose colleen hoover's ugly love because last week i read 'confess' and it put me in such a mood to read another book by her. also, obviously, colleen is one of my absolute favorite authors and i can't pass up reading something by her in the very least.
2. read a book by an author that's new to you
for this i chose the wrath and the dawn by renée ahdieh because i've heard how good this book is to no end, so i finally want to pick it up. i started reading this a couple of days ago but couldn't get past chapter two so far but i'm really excited to keep going!
3. give an author a second chance
i chose an obvious author for this because i've dnf-ed her book twice already this year. it's red queen by victoria aveyard. i really want to get back into fantasy, and i really want to push myself to read it. again.
4. read a book by a debut author (twenty fifteen or twenty sixteen)
for this i chose a book i've postponed reading for hell of a long time. it's carrie hope fletcher's all i know now. carrie is one of my favorite youtubers, so i don't really get it why i still haven't read her first book. i need to asap.
5. read a book written by more than one author
now, i only had choices for this from my e-book library, and i know i can get this book read quickly because i chose colleen hoover and tarryn fisher's never never. the first installment to the trilogy, and if i get into it, i'll probably marathon the trilogy.
6. read a book by an author who's from a a different continent
i'm from europe, so it's fairly easy for me to choose a book. i chose another book that i know i'll fly through and it's jennifer l. armentrout's onyx, the second book to the lux series. i'm a bit hesitant to pick it up though because i don't own the next book in the series and i don't want it to end on a cliffhanger... but we'll see.
all of these books are around four hundred pages or more, so don't be surprised if i will switch up these books to something shorter.

today's song choice is simple plan's 'welcome to my life' because i heard my uncle listening to it and thought it was funny 'cause he never listens to this kind of music.
until next time
